Job Role:
We are seeking a PR & Outreach Specialist who is passionate about search engine optimisation, digital PR and link building. If you thrive on staying ahead of the latest SEO and PR developments and know how to turn insights into high impact strategies, this is the role for you.
As part of our SEO team, you will collaborate with specialists across content, technical SEO and outreach, continuously exploring new avenues to drive exceptional organic results for clients. You’ll be responsible for developing and implementing SEO strategies, digital PR campaigns and outreach initiatives to boost rankings, traffic and conversions.
You’ll also work closely with the Head of SEO to grow sub teams and contribute to the evolution of client success reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out the day to day delivery of link building and content marketing campaigns for clients.
- Identify key contacts for web coverage using PR tools and online sources (e.g., ResponseSource, Vuelio).
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, content managers and influencers to secure online placements.
- Plan and deliver data driven digital PR campaigns aligned with client objectives.
- Monitor industry trends and implement best practice outreach techniques.
- Conduct competitor analysis to identify new opportunities.
- Ensure all outreach activity is tied to the overarching SEO strategy.
Creative & Strategic Development:
- Develop forward thinking, unique campaign ideas that stand out.
- Collaborate with SEO sub teams to generate creative outreach concepts.
- Confidently manage both onsite and offsite outreach strategies.
- Track campaign performance and report growth to clients, using SEO and PR tools.
- Oversee and manage monthly outreach budgets to maximise impact.
SEO & Performance Monitoring:
- Work alongside SEO specialists to ensure outreach supports ranking, traffic and conversion growth.
- Implement SEO best practices in link acquisition to improve organic performance.
- Regularly report to clients on campaign progress and outreach success.
Skills & Experience Required:
- 2+ years’ experience in outreach, digital PR or link building.
- Proven outreach and digital PR skills, with examples of previous coverage.
- Experience using PR tools such as ResponseSource, Vuelio, BuzzStream.
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices and how outreach drives organic growth.
- Experience using a variety of outreach techniques to generate high quality backlinks.
- Confident in competitor research, SEO analysis and content marketing strategies.
- Excellent communication, time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage budgets effectively and optimise spend for maximum ROI.
- Previous agency experience is desirable but not essential.
- A passion for promoting websites, securing coverage and tracking success.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field.
- Experience managing and mentoring junior team members.
